Real family sessions: Charlie, Rhys & their children

I first met Charlie and Rhys when I photographed their wedding at Tredudwell Manor in Fowey. It was a beautiful summer celebration, full of joy and laughter. Fast forward a few years, and they now have two gorgeous children—and I had the privilege of photographing their family on the beach at Perranporth.

Perranporth is one of Cornwall's most spectacular beaches. With its wide stretch of golden sand, dramatic dunes, and the iconic Chapel Rock, it offers endless opportunities for beautiful family photos.

Charlie and Rhys wanted images that captured their family as they are—playful, loving, and full of energy. We spent the session on the beach and in the dunes, letting their children run, explore, and be themselves. The result was a collection of images that feel authentic and timeless.
